History | : | The Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations was established in 2009 as part of the Yalova Üniversitesi, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and it started education in the 2010-2011 academic year with 100 students. |

Students will be exempt if the related committee of the school approves the contents of the course and the student applies within the time frame. |
Qualification Requirements and Regulations | : | Getting the minimum 2.00 / 4.00 grade point average from the total of all the courses and passing all the undergraduate courses in the program is adequate for students to graduate. In addition, the student is expected to submit a final thesis (in the 7th or 8th semesters) at the end of a project. Students have to complete 57 courses of which 45 are required and 12 are electives. These courses have a total of 137 credits while the total required ECTS corresponds to 240. |

We perform our courses with the help of the latest technology and with the work life applicability in mind so that our graduates can have analytical thinking, strategy determination, problem solving and good decision making skills. |
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples | : | The areas of employment of the graduates of this is department is wide as they can be employed in the public and private sector. Graduates may be responsible for the general social policy of the state, policies related to working life and public institutions which have the function of regulating and conducting social security problems; employee-employer relations, labor legislation, human resources management and collective bargaining. |
Access to Further Studies | : | Upon successful completion of the program, the student can apply for master's and doctoral degrees in the field of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations or other sciences who accept students from this field. |
