October 1-31 has been designated as Breast Cancer Awareness Month by the World Health Organization since 2004 in order to emphasize the importance of early diagnosis of breast cancer and awareness of breast cancer.
The "Breast Cancer Awareness Event" jointly organized by Yalova University Women and Family Research Center and Labor Economics and Industrial Relations Club was held on Wednesday, October 26, at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
Valuable faculty members, students and staff of our faculty supported the event by wearing pink ribbons symbolizing breast cancer awareness.
